Charles Soubre (1821-1895)
Charles Soubre (1821 -1895) was born and died in Liege, Belgium. He was a painter of historical scenes, genre scenes, figures, portraits and landscapes. Soubre was a pupil of J. Barthelemy Viellevoye at the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Liege. He was also an architect by profession. From 1893-1895 he exhibited at the Cercle des Beaux-Arts in Liege.
