| Biography | Henry Weigall (1829-1925)was born to Henry Weigall Snr (1798-1882) and Selina Smith (c1801-1883) and died 1925. Henry, sometimes called "Henry Weigall Jnr.", was part of a very talented family. His father was a sculptor, gem engraver, die-sinker and modeller. Henry painted numerous portraits of well-known people, including Prime minister Disraeli, and created sculptures. In 1919, Henry, who had become a JP, and his wife donated to the Ramsgate Football Club the land occupied by Southwood Stadium. He lived in London in 1880 and Ramsgate Kent 1889. He married Rose Sophia Mary Fane (1834-1921) 15 August 1866 in Westminster Abbey, London.
