| Description | A stunning church interior by Philip F Walker who exhibited between 1883-1905. Very well painted and in excellent condition. The marble floor it just amazing - it glistens like a church floor does with the receding perspective reminiscent of the Dutch Old Master church interiors. The vertical lines and colouring of the stained glass are stunning. It is an impressive painting. This is a fine example of a 19th century British oil painting with good subject. |
