Jane Vivian (exh. 1881-88)


Jane Vivian (active from 1869, exhibited 1881-88). Vivian was a London based artist who also later lived in Birmingham. She spent part of her career painting in and around Venice in the 1880's and is best known for her oil paintings of the city and its canals and architecture.
Exhibited: Royal Society of British Artists Birmingham 4, Walker Gallery Liverpool 1, Manchester City Gallery 2, Royal Hibernian Academy 7.
