George Arthur Hickin (1821-1885)
George Arthur Hickin (1821-1885). British artist who painted landscapes and birds including 'Turkey and Fowls; and On the River Clwyd neat St Asaph'. He also exhibited 7 works, mostly still lifes at the Royal Academy 1858-62. He is represented in Wolverhampton Art Gallery and six works at the BI,1858-62. Lived in Greenwich, Liverpool and Cheshire.
