George Gascoyne (1862-1933)
George Gascoyne (1862-1933). Painter and etcher born in Sittingbourne, Kent. Gascoyne studied at the Slade School of Fine Art under Alphonse Legros in the early 1880's and in 1900 married Ethel Slade King also a painter in London. He has held addresses in London, Kent and Somerset.
