It is signed and dated lower right under the frame on the edge of the canvas.

Frame Fine 19th century gilded, 3 inch oak slip plus frame, 41 inches by 28 inches. Good condition.
Condition Good clean condition.
Biography Samuel G Enderby exhibited between 1886-1915.  He was a portrait and figure painter who lived in London then latterly Penzance and Newlyn. Exhibited Liverpool (5), Manchester (11), Royal Academy (13), Royal Society of Portrait Painters (5).
